I dintorni

In our valley you will be surprised by the rural architecture, the old traditions, the alpine landscapes, and also the really less contaminated nature characterized by many vegetable and animal species, particularly deers and roes you can even see just outside the inhabited centre.

Nowadays as in the past, the presence of the Great Saint Bernard pass affects strongly the lively valley allowing exhanges with the transalpine neighbours and the birth of several events.

The historic Great Saint Bernard Col, with its lake, millenary Hospice, exhibitions and famous dogs, links Aosta Valley to Switzerland and it is a destination we suggest you to visit for not loosing its beauty and peculiarity.

And don't forget to visit the town of Aosta with its numerous and important Roman monuments, its very interesting exhibitions and museums and, why not, also the nice shops of the historical town centre. To visit also the charming castles of Aosta Valley from the nearest castle of Sarre to the Fort of Bard.

In any case, we will be ready to suggest and give you all the information you will need on everything of nice and interesting is offered by Aosta Valley.
